Title: Strategic Communications & Executive Support Specialist KBR is hiring a high-performing Chief of Staff office supporting senior U.S. Government leadership. This multifaceted role fuses strategic communications, visual design, executive support, and cross-agency coordination in an environment where adaptability, initiative, and professionalism are essential. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and deliver compelling marketing and communication pieces—graphics, presentations, briefings, videos—for senior level audiences. + Ensure all outputs reflect organizational branding and standards. + Coordinate and facilitate timely communication and workflow across teams/agencies. + Monitor operational milestones, deadlines, and project progress. + Research, synthesize, and distill data for executive decision-making. + Securely manage sensitive/classified material in compliance with all protocols. + Serve as trusted communication conduit for Chief of Staff. + Proactively anticipate needs, solve problems, and drive solutions. + Travel: Up to 25% (CONUS & occasional OCONUS). + Flexibility: May require work outside standard business hours. + Full-time. Remote work possible, subject to mission needs. Qualifications: Required: + An active Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI security clearance, which something only a U.S. citizen can obtain. + Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Affairs, or related field. + At least 10 years’ experience supporting executives, marketing/communications, or project coordination. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and presentation/visual design tools (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.). + Familiarity with website management, digital collaboration, and tracking tools. + Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills. + Demonstrated success supporting senior leaders or high-tempo teams. + Strong organization and solutions-oriented approach. + Ability to thrive in mission-focused, rapid-response settings. Desired: + Excellence in multitasking and prioritization without sacrificing quality. + Talent for translating complex information into accessible visual communications. + Strong, confident communicator across all levels. + Proactive in anticipating and resolving challenges. + Collaborative mindset, adept at building cross-functional relationships. + Experience with government communication standards/briefing protocols. + Familiarity with project management platforms (Asana, Trello, Microsoft Planner). + Background in national security, defense, or public sector communications. Work Environment: + Location: On-site at 2424 Garden of the Gods Rd. + Travel Requirements: Up to 25% + Working Hours: Standard Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrs Basic Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 This range is for Colorado only. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
