Area Manager - Amazon Operations
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to join our Amazon Operations team in Florida, USA. As an Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of Amazon associates in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment. You will be responsible for mentoring, managing, and fostering a team of 50-200 associates, conveying plans to your team, and acting as the primary information source for the team.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $22-$30 per hour, comprehensive training, and advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor, manage, and foster a team of 50-200 Amazon associates
- Convey plans to your team and act as the primary information source for the team
- Create, manage, and sustain recognition programs
- Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
- Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
- Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or graduate degree with a conferral date between May 2021 and August 2023
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, access all areas of the building, and lift/move items up to 49 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate and dive deep into data to provide insightful, practical business solutions
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
