Sr. Manager, Distribution Operations

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Distribution Operations to lead our distribution network in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and delivery of fresh berries across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and driving continuous improvement in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Manage distribution center operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, including production, supply chain, transportation, sales, and finance
• Collaborate with 3PL providers, farmers, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve complex issues
• Drive performance and management of labor and pay-for-performance across seasonal populations
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and cost optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, and inventory systems
• Proven experience in managing 3PL relationships, labor management, and process improvement
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Valid California driver's license and ability to travel internationally
