Remote Staff Accountant

Design Public Group is a leading provider of beautiful ancillary furniture, connecting design-driven consumers with unique products from around the globe. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Staff Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file timely accounting statements to document and communicate company performance
• Reconcile, research variances, and analyze accounts, including intercompany reconciliations and month-end close
• Record general ledger entries to accurately reflect the current position of the organization in compliance with GAAP
• Process customer refunds as necessary and drive continuous improvement activities across the finance and accounting function
• Participate in activities that ensure the success of the organization and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory mandates

Requirements:

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with QuickBooks
• Prior experience in manufacturing, e-commerce, and/or product inventory
