AI/Data Scientist (Part-Time/Remote)

About the Opportunity:

Join our innovative and collaborative team at Aeetna, a company at the forefront of developing an AIOps platform to enhance the resilience of the CVS Wellbeing framework. As an AI/Data Scientist, you'll play a critical role in building and scaling AI and machine learning solutions that proactively identify, anticipate, and resolve issues before they impact our IT operations. This is a part-time, remote position offering a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative and complex AI-driven solutions.
• Develop and implement machine learning models to predict and analyze data from equipment and software systems.
• Support system implementation processes, including the integration of purchased solutions.
• Perform configuration, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Act as a collaborative team member, sharing knowledge and contributing to team success.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail.
• Exhibits a strong work ethic and a drive for excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with AI, including data-driven statistical modeling, predictive techniques, and feature extraction/analysis.
• 2+ years of experience with a programming language such as Python, R, or SQL.
• 2+ years of experience in data extraction, cleaning, monitoring, and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling data from various sources and big data platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.).
• Experience developing scalable AI models and systems.
• Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, or other advanced techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Experience modernizing data pipelines by analyzing unstructured data sources and implementing new features.
• Ability to provide technical support and expertise to the broader team.
