Who We Are

We are the Prime Video Live Events team, dedicated to altering the way our clients search, find, and enjoy live events, from sports to music, and more. We launched our first full-scale live streaming experience in September 2018, and since then, we've delivered multi-game watching experiences to our Prime Video clients in the UK. We're growing and seeking experts to build innovative solutions for clients to discover engaging and personalized live content.

How You'll Contribute

We're looking for talented Software Development Engineers who can help build personalized discovery experiences for thousands of live streaming events worldwide using technologies like AI. If you have experience building large-scale, high-performance, customer-friendly products and are interested in designing and implementing distributed systems to manage large datasets, complex domains, and problems at Amazon scale, this is the ideal job for you.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Participate in code reviews, ensure coding standards, and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the software
• Work with the latest AWS cloud technologies, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and Cloudfront

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-entry-level design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
