We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our team as an Associate Director. As a key member of our Worldwide Money group, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving strategic financial initiatives and providing financial support to key business development initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support and complex modeling to enable data-driven decision-making on Amazon's business, investments, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). Your analysis will help system leaders understand the financial impact of our Long Range Plan. Additionally, this role includes a reporting component that will require analysis and reporting to understand if ideal returns have been achieved.

As an Associate Director, FP&A, you will:

• Aid in the development of our financial projections aligned with our Long Range Plan
• Closely collaborate with our Corporate Strategy and Business Development teams on projects and analysis
• Conduct analysis projects and develop plans of action driving key insights for informing critical business decisions across global markets
• Perform ad-hoc what-if scenario analysis for variable independent guidance
• Build a strong understanding of our customers and the key KPIs required to run the business successfully
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key cross-functional staff, including Product, Strategy, and Marketing colleagues, business intelligence teams, and Amazon finance partners
• Develop and deliver executive-level presentations on projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5 years of professional experience in a financial planning/strategic advisory (Consulting or Investment Banking)/projects analysis role

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis and complex modeling
• Proven ability to build relationships and communicate with peers, subordinates, executive management, and other critical stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and deliver under moving deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective leadership communication and influence
