Project Details
- Project Period: October to December (3 months)
- Compensation:
- Annotator: $41 per valid audio hour
- Quality Assurance (QA): $30 per valid audio hour
- Career Progression: Annotator > Quality Inspector > Supervisor (limited positions available)
Key Responsibilities
As an Annotator:
- Carefully transcribe audio according to guidelines and submit your work
- Collaborate on modifications based on quality feedback
As a Quality Inspector (QA):
- Evaluate and enhance the quality of annotations
- Provide constructive feedback to annotators for improvement
- Return low-level errors to annotators for correction without extended assistance
As a Supervisor:
- Receive additional compensation for management responsibilities
- Train new team members on platform operations and procedures
- Answer questions and provide guidance, leading regular review meetings
- Monitor and assess team quality, selecting newly qualified annotators and inspectors
- Assist the Project Manager in managing team dynamics, including notifications, data conditions, and feedback
What We're Looking For
- Native speaker of Bashkir
- Experience in transcription
- Strong reading comprehension skills in English
- Ability to commit 3-4 hours of work per day
