Key Responsibilities:

• Determine eligibility for benefits and provide accurate support to applicants
• Apply program rules to complex and dynamic situations
• Provide empathetic and respectful customer service to clients via phone and in-person
• Collaborate with a team to achieve goals and support the well-being of children and families
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service environment with computer program use and clerical work
• OR Bachelor's degree in a human service or financial field
• OR 1+ year of experience as a Benefits Programs Specialist Trainee
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
