Job Overview

• Position: Remote Bookkeeper/Tax Planner
• Location: Remote (Work from Home)
• Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to be located in EST or CST time zones
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial records of multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
• Generate financial reports and summaries for client review
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate financial data for tax preparation
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data entry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks concurrently
• Prior experience in a tax firm or accounting firm is a plus
