Data Migration Consultant - Utilities Expert
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Consultant to join our team at Workwarp, a leading international software vendor in the utilities sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of data for our utility clients. - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical consultants to ensure seamless data migration
- Coordinate and manage all steps of the data migration process, from analysis to validation
- Support sales teams in responding to RFIs and RFPs related to data migration
- Collaborate with customers to analyze, prepare, extract, transform, and validate data for migration to UMAX
- Develop design methodologies and project documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Formulate proposals for improving working methods and concepts with customers
- Monitor progress, quality, and consistency of migration products
- Work closely with the data migration team to develop detailed field mappings and transformation rules
Requirements:
- Experience in the Utilities industry (Water, Electric, Gas)
- Proven experience designing and implementing ETL systems to handle multiple data sources
- Senior-level experience with MS SQL, SSIS packages, T-SQL queries, and Azure
- Experience working on CIS/Utility Billing migration projects
- Excellent understanding of logical process and data models
- Customer-focused with a quality-driven mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and travel up to 50%
