Tuva, the leading data literacy company in K-12 education, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Educational Sales Representative to join our innovative remote team. As a key player in our sales team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of data literacy education and empower educators and students worldwide.

As an Educational Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our data literacy instructional program to schools and districts throughout the United States. You will build relationships with educators, drive sales, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to promote and sell our data literacy instructional program to schools and districts throughout the United States.
  • Build relationships, drive sales, and support educators in effectively incorporating Tuva across their math and science education.
  • Identify and target new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Present and demonstrate Tuva's data literacy instructional program and the Tuva data and graphing tools to potential customers, showcasing the value and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
  • Collaborate with the content and production teams to customize and align Tuva's offerings to meet the specific needs and requirements of customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to data literacy education.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and other events across California to promote Tuva and expand the network of potential customers.
  • Provide feedback from customers to the product development team to drive continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data literacy concepts and the educational landscape, preferably in K-12 education.
  • Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in K-12 education or the EdTech industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for education, online learning, and empowering educators and students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a teacher or educator in K-12 schools, with a focus on data literacy or related subjects.
  • Familiarity with education standards, such as the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) or the Common Core Math Standards (CCSS).
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and data analysis skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering professional development sessions or workshops for educators.

Compensation:

Total compensation for this position includes base pay (hourly rate or salary) with an opportunity to earn bonuses based on performance.
