We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team in a hybrid remote setting. As an Entry-Level Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in preparing and analyzing financial data, managing vendor relationships, and providing insights to drive business improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze daily fuel payouts to multiple vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop a weekly fuel summary by vendor, providing valuable insights into business operations.
- Prepare invoices for shuttle and commissary vendors, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Analyze and review monthly reports for A/R aging, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Perform ad-hoc projects as requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Utilize accounting knowledge and spreadsheet preparation skills to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple business users daily for invoicing approval and processing, ensuring seamless communication.
- Provide detailed insights on key analytics and reports to drive improvements through the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
