Estate and Trust Internship (Jan - April 2025) - Launch Your Career in Tax

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Estate and Trust Department as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including estate and trust administration, tax return preparation, and fiduciary accounting. This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a high-demand area of tax and develop a broad range of skills that will help you achieve your career goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review various types of fiduciary income tax returns, including gift tax returns
• Conduct tax research projects and analyze complex tax data
• Assist with special projects as assigned, including corporate and partnership tax returns
• Collaborate with our Estate and Trust Team to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements:

• Pursuing an accounting major with a minimum of 150 credit hours
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and a strong academic record
• Completion of intermediate accounting course(s) and some tax and/or audit course(s) by the time of internship
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong desire to learn and develop professionally, with a motivation to serve clients and be a team player
