Global Trade Risk Management Leader

Join our innovative team at Workwarp as a Global Trade Risk Manager and play a pivotal role in driving success in a dynamic and remote work environment! We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional to manage our C-TPAT Tier III program, First Sale for Export Program, and a full range of import/export customs operations and compliance activities. As a Global Trade Risk Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating potential operational or compliance risks, developing strategies for resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trade operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential operational or compliance risks and develop strategies for resolution
• Understand customs classification rules (GRI) and interpret customs/CIT rulings for both import and exports
• Manage Home Depot's CTPAT Tier III Program, including audit assessments, evaluation of systems, platforms, and engagement with sourcing and responsible sourcing teams overseas
• Manage systems for trade risk, including 3 platforms: G360, SCAN SCM, and FLEXPLM/Trade Beyond
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, responsible sourcing, and logistics teams
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance trade operations and compliance
• Analyze data and reports to support business execution and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the job, such as Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math, or Finance
• Minimum 7 years of experience in customs compliance-related experience
• Preferred 5 years of experience in CTPAT, First Sale for Export Program, and Export/Import Operations
• License: Customs Broker Certified
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio
• Advanced skills in Access, SQL, Big Query, Tableau, Visual Basic, and data mining
