About the Role: As an Anticipated Certified Music Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive music education curriculum that aligns with school district goals and objectives. Your duties will include:

  • Developing and teaching music lessons to students in grades K-12, with a focus on vocal music, choir, and woodwinds
  • Identifying and promoting each student's unique talents and abilities in musical expression
  • Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages individualized and small group instruction
  • Conducting ongoing assessments of student progress and modifying instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Planning and directing musical programs and performances outside the classroom
  • Collaborating with colleagues and participating in faculty meetings and committees
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with students, parents, and administrators
