Math Tutor for High School Students - Part-time Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Tutor to work with high school students in a one-on-one setting, providing homework prep and support in various math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. As a Math Tutor with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of students and families.

Job Summary:

• Provide in-home, one-on-one tutoring for high school students in math subjects
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Effectively communicate with students, parents, and our office team to ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and submit reports to our office within 24 hours

Responsibilities:

• Teach students in a way that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to their individual learning style
• Balance tutoring hours and ensure that each student receives the support they need
• Respond to student and parent inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Follow up with our office regarding student enrollment packages and hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on math tutoring or teaching
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with students in a one-on-one setting
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication, administrative, and typing skills
• Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
