Key Responsibilities:

• Assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with patient care and maintenance of patient records
• Perform hourly rounding, clerical functions, and maintain chart order
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with hospital departments
• Assist with patient teaching, supply maintenance, and equipment management
• Enter daily outpatient and observation room charges and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (will obtain during hospital orientation)
• Maintain compliance in RQI and exhibit excellent interpersonal, clerical, and numerical skills
• Ability to read, write, and perform math as demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED
