We're Future Physicians, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting high school and college students with medicine and research-related opportunities. We're seeking a talented and passionate Marketing Intern to join our team and help drive our mission forward.

About the Role:

This is an unpaid remote marketing internship, open to high school and college students, lasting from July 2024 to October 2024 with possible extensions based on performance. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing campaign metrics to optimize our online presence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop bespoke content and write copy for online marketing and social media outreach
• Collaborate with executive management to drive company growth and improve business development and marketing strategies
• Track and interpret marketing analytics and conduct market research to optimize market penetration and user engagement
• Commit to a minimum of 1 hour on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends, with flexibility to attend meetings on short notice
• Develop marketing content for our nonprofit on various social media platforms
• Design and implement effective email marketing strategies to achieve business goals
• Analyze email campaign metrics and generate actionable insights to inform future campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives

Requirements:

• Social Media Marketing and Communication skills
• Social Media Content Creation and Video Production skills
• Experience in managing social media platforms
• Passion for medicine and commitment to our mission
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team
• Previous experience in social media management is a plus
