Join our team as a Teaching Assistant WEC and make a difference in the lives of students with diverse needs! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to provide instructional support to students with emotional and learning disabilities in a remote setting. As a Teaching Assistant WEC, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development.

About the Role

  • Provide instructional services to students under the supervision of a licensed or certified teacher
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as dressing, toileting, and feeding, as applicable
  • Implement specialized instruction to students with emotional and learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet student learning needs and promote equity and culturally responsive practices
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and program developments
