Technical Program Manager - Games Platform

With over 230 million paid memberships in over 190 countries, Netflix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to drive large-scale cross-functional projects that impact multiple teams within the games product organization and across the company.

In this role, you will foster partnerships with product, engineering, and peer technical program managers, as well as the Netflix Game Studios organization. Your focus will be on continuously improving our game developer experience, the effectiveness of the Netflix game development lifecycle, and Netflix Game Studios' ability to manage operational scale as we grow our games portfolio on both mobile and cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple cross-functional projects, in collaboration with product, engineering, design, and data science, that deliver technical solutions to our evolving game development lifecycle experience and need for operational scale.
• Provide deep domain expertise to shape technical strategies with engineering partners.
• Drive engagement with partners, work to break down requirements into technical implementation plans with measurable milestones, effectively manage scope and schedule, and proactively manage risks.
• Develop clear communication of progress toward objectives, reporting status to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of technical program management experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
• Deep understanding and expertise with game development lifecycle and processes.
• Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys managing multiple programs with many complex components and building relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and provide input on product versus technology tradeoffs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical requirements tailored to the audience.
• Self-starter who enjoys tackling 0 to 1 problem spaces and quickly bringing organization and direction.
