Job Summary

The Client Arrangements Designing group at Disney offers functional support for our company's group of consumer-facing digital products. As a Software Engineer, you will provide technical support for our back-end platforms, triage product issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and other programming languages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Provide technical support for back-end platforms and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java
• Strong programming fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Experience with software development lifecycle, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with open-source frameworks and tools, such as Spring and GitHub
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Docker
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed systems
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
