About the Role
In this exciting opportunity, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modernized specialized business applications using core agile practices. You'll work closely with our technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that our code meets their vision and drives business success.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and demonstrate new features and components to customers, ensuring compliance with requirements
- Assist with the design, implementation, and optimization of associated processes, tools, and workflows
- Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure code meets their vision
- Design solutions to meet functional and technical requirements
- Align with Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements
- Own quality posture, writing automated tests and code
- Develop transport pipelines and automated deployment scripts
- Configure services, including databases and monitoring
- Implement Service Reliability Engineering
- Fix issues from development to production, requiring on-call support for production
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- 9+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior Software Engineer or related technical engineering capacity
- Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, Spring boot, and JSON
- Good knowledge of REST-based microservices architecture, APIs
- Professional experience working with Agile Methodologies
- Experience working with DevOps standards, practices, and tools in an enterprise-level setting
- Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider
