As a Provider Engagement Representative, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Assist in end-to-end provider claims and enhance call quality
• Contribute to the design and implementation of programs that foster positive relationships between our health plan and providers
• Support the development and management of provider networks
• Help implement training and education programs for external providers
• Identify gaps in network composition and services to inform network contracting and development teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of provider relations and/or provider network experience
• 2+ years of experience with long-term care nursing facilities
• 1+ year of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• 25-50% local travel required
• Residence in Indiana

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of healthcare/managed care experience
• Experience with telecommuting and adherence to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy
