Senior Quality Assurance Lead - Life Sciences Domain

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead our testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to our US-based life sciences clients. As a seasoned QA professional with a strong background in the life sciences domain, you will lead our team of skilled testers, drive test automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing objectives with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA activities across projects, including planning, execution, and reporting to ensure quality standards are met and client expectations are exceeded
  • Collaborate with US-based life sciences clients to gather requirements, define test strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GxP)
  • Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 testers, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance feedback
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and usability
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, and operations) to align testing objectives with business requirements
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks in the QA process and implement proactive solutions to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality results
  • Ensure that regulatory and compliance requirements are met, maintaining documentation for audits and inspections
  • Lead test automation initiatives by developing frameworks or selecting the right tools for automation
  • Monitor and report QA metrics such as defect densities, pass/fail rates, and test coverage
  • Implement continuous improvements in QA processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality
  • Drive test execution in Agile environments, ensuring seamless integration with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD frameworks

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of QA experience, with at least 3-5 years in a lead role, managing QA projects or teams
  • Strong knowledge of the life sciences domain, including experience working with US-based life sciences clients
  • Expertise in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP/UFT, ALM, and LoadRunner
  • Good understanding of compliance standards like FDA regulations, GxP, and ISO 13485
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and performance testing tools
  • Strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when working with international clients
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies, with exposure to CI/CD pipelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred)
  • Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (Advanced Level or equivalent)
