Virtual Spanish Speaking Tutor (Fall 2023) - Flexible, Remote, and Rewarding Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Spanish speaking tutors to join our team of educators at Tutored by Teachers. As a Virtual Spanish Speaking Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of K-12 students across the country, providing online ELA and Math instruction in a flexible and remote environment.

Key Highlights:

• Competitive compensation: $36.00 per hour (prorated) + 10% bonus for light preparation
• Flexible scheduling: Weekday availability (8a-4p Eastern) with varying tutoring engagement lengths (14-30 weeks)

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Experience teaching in U.S. classrooms, with a focus on ELA and Math instruction
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to teach in both languages
• Availability during weekdays (8a-4p Eastern) and a willingness to commit to varying tutoring engagement lengths
• Strong working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom, with experience teaching in an online environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with remediation, intervention, or small group instruction
• SPED or ELL teaching experience
• AP course experience (any APs)
• Active teaching credential
