Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in health sciences, both online and in-person, and participating in the IUFW First Year Experience. You will also contribute to the assessment of student learning outcomes, mentor students, and provide professional, university, and community service. We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 4 courses per semester (fall/spring)
• Maintain communication, assessment, and reporting lines to the Department of Health Sciences at IU Indianapolis
• Promote and assist in the coordination of the capstone and internship experiences for Fort Wayne students
• Contribute to the assessment of Fort Wayne student learning outcomes in the BSHS
• Mentor students and provide professional, university, and community service

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Health or Rehabilitation Sciences or complementary disciplines
• Demonstrated potential for success in teaching
• Experience in college classroom teaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Terminal degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Experience teaching online and in-person classes
• Student advising experience
