Job Description:

Littera Education is seeking passionate and experienced Virtual Math Tutors to join our team of educators. As a Virtual Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in grades 6-8, supporting them in their understanding of middle school math concepts. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality virtual math tutoring to students in grades 6-8
• Build strong relationships with students and support their academic growth
• Review and prepare lesson materials to ensure a comprehensive understanding of math concepts
• Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions
• Commit to a consistent schedule and maintain open communication with students and the Littera Education team

Program Details:

Our tutoring programs are designed to provide students with the support they need to succeed in math. As a Virtual Math Tutor, you will be matched with students who require additional support and guidance. You will work with students in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting, delivering personalized instruction and feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with school-age learners
• Consistent ongoing calendar availability to support a session series
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with online virtual tools and technology
• Reliable internet connection and necessary equipment (desktop/laptop, video camera, noise-canceling headset)
• Residence in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but college students with relevant experience are welcome to apply
