Job Description

The Senior Director of Global Technical Support will provide technical vision and strategy for our global technical support and services. This leadership role involves building supportive and reliable relationships across the organization, customers, and partners, as well as identifying training needs for technical, soft skills, and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience with enterprise networks, systems, and cybersecurity, as well as a track record of solving complex technical issues and leading high-performing technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic direction of iboss Global Technical Support, translating vision into tactical and operational execution
  • Build strong cross-departmental relationships and serve as a trusted advisor and partner to global teams
  • Contribute to the Global Customer Support vision, bringing initiatives to the table and collaborating on long-term technical vision and strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with product changes, working with lab and test systems to quickly come up to speed with new capabilities, devices, and features
  • Create and submit knowledge base entries to improve customer self-service capabilities and share internal knowledge with team members

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience designing and supporting multilayer IP networks, with expertise in network security, firewalls, intrusion prevention, risk assessment, pen testing, content filtering, PKI, and SSL/TLS
  • Previous experience leading and developing technical support teams, with a focus on providing best-in-class service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train and share knowledge with team members
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, preferred in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and success
