Seeking Experienced and Passionate Marketing Manager Who Loves Hotel and Travel About this job… The Area Marketing Manager for Premium Select Hotels serves as a vital connector between corporate marketing strategy and property-level execution. This role ensures brand compliance, drives quick activations, and provides marketing expertise to support properties in optimizing brand tools, monitoring KPIs, and enhancing digital performance. Chicago or Chicagoland Based: Remote Work Style What you’ll be doing… Develop Marketing Strategies and Content:

  • Lead a portfolio of US-based Premium Select branded properties.
  • Ensure brand compliance across all digital marketing efforts in alignment with brand marketing and First Hospitality standards and staying current with hotel guidelines.
  • Manage paid media campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, deployment, and performance reporting for both organic and paid channels.
  • Plan and execute marketing activations aligned with commercial strategy, collaborating with sales, revenue, and operations leaders to address need periods.
  • Monitor and analyze property KPIs, providing actionable recommendations and adjusting plans to achieve targets.
  • Maintain hotel photography guidelines and oversee onsite photo and video shoots.
  • Lead marketing best practices and pilot innovative marketing initiatives in partnership with corporate and brand teams.
  • Conduct quarterly audits across assigned portfolio, evaluate content scores by channel monthly.
  • Actively participate in monthly commercial strategy meetings and support the development of annual Sales & Marketing plans and budgets.
  • Support internal marketing communications by coordinating company announcements, recognition initiatives, and other employee engagement efforts across corporate and property teams.
  • Oversee portfolio social media efforts, driving following and engagement, fostering collaboration amongst broader marketing strategies.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors as needed to align on strategic objectives, execute campaigns, and track performance.
  • Maintain integrity of the company’s branding, mission, vision, values, and positioning in all aspects of communication
  • Complete additional job duties reasonably related to the overall scope of work as assigned or deemed necessary

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-property environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of hotel performance metrics (ADR, RevPAR, OTA share) and their application to marketing strategy.
  • Proficiency with brand marketing platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across corporate teams, brand partners, and property leadership.
  • Comfortable with remote work and travel up to 20%.
