We are seeking a seasoned Host Communications & Social Media Manager to support the go-to-market execution of talent-led Airbnb Experiences. In this dynamic and highly collaborative role, you will work directly with hosts and their representatives to ensure every experience is launched and promoted with precision, creativity, and alignment to both Airbnb’s brand standards and host deliverables. Host Communications & Relationship Management

  • Act as the day-to-day liaison between Airbnb and a roster of high-profile hosts and their representatives (managers, publicists, agents), providing clear guidance, timelines, and creative direction.
  • Manage detailed outreach plans for each host partner, including scheduling check-ins, sharing assets, capturing feedback, and following up on deliverables.
  • Proactively resolve issues, clarify expectations, and provide a white-glove experience throughout the pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
  • Translate creative, marketing, social, and legal input into clear, actionable steps for host teams.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Asset Execution

  • Build customized pitch materials for host partnerships, including tailored marketing one-sheets, decks, and comms briefs.
  • Develop social media toolkits for host use — including platform-specific best practices, key messaging, and campaign calendars.
  • Write suggested copy and positioning for social posts and partner marketing, ensuring alignment with Airbnb’s brand and each host’s unique voice.
  • Create static and motion assets using Photoshop (or similar tools), optimized for host use across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and other platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management

  • Work closely with internal teams including Partnerships, Brand, Social, Legal, Comms, and Production to align on timelines, approvals, and promotional plans.
  • Track and manage all contractual marketing obligations and corresponding timelines using detailed project management tools.
  • Maintain and own clear documentation across creative approvals, feedback loops, asset distribution, and live dates.
  • Drive alignment across internal stakeholders, ensuring shared visibility on status, risks, and delivery milestones.

Your Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent relations, influencer marketing, entertainment marketing, or social media strategy — ideally within a studio, agency, brand, or talent-facing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing direct relationships with high-profile talent and their teams with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Deep understanding of how social media and digital promotion intersect with entertainment marketing and talent branding.
  • Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects with multiple contributors, shifting timelines, and tight turnarounds.
  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop or similar tools (Figma, Canva, Illustrator a plus); ability to quickly develop simple but high-impact assets.
  • Strong copywriting skills with sensitivity to brand tone and voice.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented — with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort working in a matrixed organization, collaborating cross-functionally, and adapting quickly to change.
