Our client is a global provider of plant reliability and efficiency solutions, offering digitalized production outcomes across several plant sites in more than 25 countries. By leveraging advanced technology and contextualized process data, they deliver highly accurate predictions and prescriptive interventions in the process industry. These solutions have resulted in significant savings across industries such as Cement, Metals, Paper, Energy, Chemicals, and Tyres.

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Partner Account Manager with deep expertise in the glass manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a proactive sales leader with a proven track record in enterprise-level deal closures. The selected candidate will be responsible for securing a high-value, multi-plant contract with a leading glass manufacturing company in the USA.

Requirements

1. Enterprise-Level Deal Execution

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to secure a long-term, enterprise-level contract.
  • Engage and influence C-suite executives, plant managers, and technical decision-makers to drive consensus and commitment.
  • Manage and navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring efficient progress from prospecting to contract closure.

2. Prospecting Business Development

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across corporate headquarters and plant locations.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent momentum toward deal closure.
  • Drive lead generation efforts through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.

3. Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, positioning the company as a leader in predictive maintenance and industrial IoT solutions.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement to drive customer confidence and long-term partnerships.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical, product, and customer success teams to customize solutions that address the client’s unique challenges.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sales to post-contract execution, facilitating smooth account handover to the delivery team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points in the glass manufacturing sector.
  • Leverage insights to refine sales strategies, value propositions, and competitive positioning.

Key Qualifications Experience:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, specifically within the glass manufacturing industry.
  • Proven success in closing multi-million-dollar, high-stakes deals within 6-9 months.
  • Strong understanding of glass manufacturing operations, including furnace processes, forming, and quality control.
  • A proactive and relentless approach to identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, results-driven environments with ambitious revenue goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing high-value partnerships.
  • Expertise in developing and executing complex sales strategies tailored to enterprise clients.
  • Strong ability to align internal resources with customer needs, ensuring optimal solutions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a compelling ability to articulate value propositions.
  • Skilled in consultative selling and negotiation to drive successful deal closures.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Maryland, with the ability to travel across the USA as required.
