Job Summary

Execute back-end development across a spectrum of web and app product environments and help maintain ticketing integrity and engage at a high level with the client and team to share what’s possible as a creative solution.

Project duration is from the beginning of August until the end of September.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain back-end systems using Django and Wagtail CMS.

• Integrate APIs, data sources, and third-party services into custom solutions.

• Collaborate closely with design, product, and front-end teams to translate project requirements into scalable technical implementations.

• Provide insight into technical possibilities and constraints during planning phases.

• Ensure digital products are built to meet accessibility standards and perform reliably across environments.

• Maintain clear documentation, proactive communication, and consistent ticketing practices to support team velocity.

• Stay up-to-date with best practices in performance, security, and emerging web technologies.

• Lead and mentor junior developers when applicable (leadership experience is a plus).

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience in back-end development.

• Fluency in Wagtail/Django, both with and without frameworks.
