About the Role

The Clinical Business Operations Manager will be responsible for streamlining clinical processes, ensuring operational goals are met, and driving efficiency improvements within Hey Jane’s clinical team. This individual will collaborate closely with clinical leadership to enhance productivity, improve patient experience, and maintain compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare operations, is data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You have...

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, operations, project management, or a related role
  • Experience in a healthcare, telehealth, or reproductive health setting is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical and operational data
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Experience optimizing workflows and implementing process improvements that align with clinical and business goals
  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical teams, operations, and product teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in Google Slides
  • Strong project management and organization skills to easily navigate ambiguous situations, come up with practical solutions, and execute quickly and effectively
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
  • A passion for Hey Jane’s mission and a commitment to reproductive health care

It'd be a bonus if you also have...

  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth healthcare organization
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
  • Understanding of how to navigate the insurance payer space
  • Prior experience in a Product Operations role or working closely with product teams

In this role, you will...

  • Oversee and optimize day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality care
  • Work directly with clinical leadership to meet key operational targets, including: a) Treatment turnaround time b)Labor costs c) Patient Net Promoter Score (NPS) d) Safe and compliant patient treatments
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements to increase team output and patient satisfaction
  • Ensure high employee satisfaction and engagement within the clinical team
  • Analyze clinical and patient data to identify trends, operational gaps, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Act as a Product Operations liaison, helping identify and implement product updates that enhance team efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational playbooks to ensure consistency and clarity across clinical workflows
  • Build clear, compelling Google Slide presentations to illustrate data-driven insights and drive decision-making
  • Ensure the clinic meets all compliance and quality benchmarks, working closely with clinical leadership
  • Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service delivery
