As a Strategic Account Manager at Lightspeed, you won't just manage customers—you’ll own relationships with our highest-value retail clients and act as a trusted growth advisor. Your mission: maximize product adoption, retention, and expansion within a strategic portfolio that fuels our global momentum.

*Please note that this role is based in Amsterdam and is not fully remote. At Lightspeed, we follow a hybrid working model and enjoy collaborating in the office.*

What You’ll Be Owning

  • Own the relationship: Act as the single point of contact and strategic partner for a defined book of top-tier Enterprise customers.

  • Architect growth: Develop and execute tailored account strategies that align product capabilities with each client's long-term business objectives.

  • Drive outcomes: Lead adoption, upsell, and retention initiatives that directly impact Net Revenue Retention (NRR).

  • Lead with insight: Conduct data-driven QBRs and strategic check-ins to identify opportunities and prevent churn before it’s visible.

  • Influence the roadmap: Act as the voice of the customer—translating real-world insights into actionable product feedback for our cross-functional teams.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner tightly with Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Support to deliver a seamless and impactful customer experience.

  • Build deep trust: Become a strategic advisor by truly understanding each customer’s goals, challenges, and market dynamics.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in Strategic Account Management or Enterprise Customer Success in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment

  • Proven success managing a complex, high-value book of business and driving retention and expansion

  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to link customer outcomes to revenue impact

  • A self-starter mindset: resourceful, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (business-level)

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the retail space

  • Background in FinTech, payments, or multi-product SaaS platforms

  • Formal training in customer success, consultative selling, or strategic account planning

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field
