The pay range for this position is $36.00-$45.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Work remotely from the your home office
• Review Outpatient Facility medical codes assigned by the coder, then provide feedback and corrections as needed;
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications

Required:

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P credential from AHIMA; CPC, COC or CIC from AAPC
• 3 or more years of recent Outpatient coding experience
• Top coding skills in specialty area. Coding test will be administered to demonstrate proficiency.
• Ability to work from home using high-speed wired Cable, DSL, or Satellite internet

Preferred:

• Experience with EMR, multiple encoders and abstracting systems
