We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Unified Analytics team. You will provide strategic direction, ensure alignment across teams, and manage high-performance international  individual contributors. As Madhive experiences significant growth, providing our customers with clear insights into their campaign performance is crucial to our growth strategies. You will be responsible for the successful execution of complex, business-critical projects, aligning engineering efforts with company goals. Your ability to anticipate challenges, manage risks, and deliver impactful results will be essential to this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and drive new strategic opportunities that address business-critical work streams and anticipate future needs for scaling and growth.

  • Weave AI into our current data and reporting solutions.

  • Work closely with executive leadership, Directors, Product Management, and other engineering leaders to align technical efforts with business goals.

  • Work effectively with high-performance software and QA engineers, ensuring career development and team cohesion.  

  • Drive the planning and estimation process for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and successfully.

  • Lead technical design and execution across projects, serving as a hands-on tech lead while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies before they impact key deliverables.

  • Advocate for strong engineering practices, software architecture improvements, and the adoption of technologies that enhance scalability, observability, and system health.

  • Ensure that engineering outcomes have a measurable impact on company top-line or bottom-line performance.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in leadership roles managing and leading high-performing engineering teams.

  • A deep understanding of design patterns, software development methodologies, and distributed systems architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with relevant technologies and tools, such as Looker, Airflow, Spark, and streaming architectures.

  • Well-versed in data pipelining, data warehousing, data modeling, data streaming, streaming architectures, database performance, ETL processes and Looker implementation.

  • Highly proficient in driving complex cross-functional projects, managing risks, and ensuring successful execution.

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) and have built large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.

  • Excel at collaboration and can effectively engage with executive leadership, Directors, and cross-functional partners to align engineering efforts with company goals.

  • Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and psychological safety, ensuring that both managers and individual contributors are supported in their career development.

  • Data-driven, using metrics and analytics to track team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic decisions.
