You can expect a salary of a competitive salary for this role, plus comprehensive benefits.   Part-Time Sales Representative - Mandarin Language Learning Program (Remote - Must reside in and be eligible to work in the Continental USA) Job Overview We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Part-Time Sales Representative to advocate for our pioneering online Mandarin language learning program, targeting children aged 5 to 12 in North America. This role is pivotal in establishing connections with Chinese language schools and organizations to cultivate sales opportunities and partnerships that advance language education and cultural appreciation. Key Responsibilities • Identify Sales Opportunities: Generate leads and create new sales avenues for our Mandarin learning program, with an emphasis on young learners. • Research and Data Management: Execute comprehensive research to gather contact information for Chinese schools, organizations, and communities throughout North America, initially focusing on the MD/VA/DC region. • Community Engagement: Proactively reach out to schools and organizations via phone calls and in-person visits, fostering robust relationships and collaborations. • Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively broaden the customer base. • Present the Program: Acquire in-depth knowledge of our Mandarin curriculum and present its benefits tailored to the needs of each partner. • Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with the research and sales teams to improve data accuracy and impact, maintain precise records, and provide ongoing progress reports and forecasts. • Sales Activities: Organize and actively participate in demonstrations, webinars, and presentations to engage potential partners. Required Skills • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken), with exceptional interpersonal communication skills. • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office and Google Docs. • Soft Skills: Friendly, energetic demeanor in customer interactions, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, particularly with Chinese language schools or organizations. Experience in educational product sales or partnership development with Chinese institutions is preferred. • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the USA (I-9 verification required).
