Phorest powers 11,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.

The Opportunity

As a Product Marketing Manager for Phorest, you will be responsible for the overall product marketing strategy for our North American team. This includes understanding the market, defining product positioning, and creating go-to-market strategies to drive new sales and boost existing client growth. You will work closely with colleagues in sales and marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, research, and product development to ensure that marketing activities are aligned with regional business objectives and sales targets.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer needs and challenges, competitor positioning and activity, and local market trends and opportunities in North America

  • Use this market knowledge to position Phorest’s products, services and overall offering to maximise the impact of our North American sales and marketing activities

  • You will speak with our North American customers regularly and use their voice to demonstrate the value of our product offering

  • Align with regional and global marketing teams to develop impactful marketing campaigns that deliver sales pipeline growth

  • Keep track of industry trends and collect market insights to understand the competitive environment, such as emerging trends, competitor activity and changes in legislation.

  • Translate market intelligence into actionable strategies that position Phorest ahead of industry developments and competition.

  • Deliver market analysis reports to product, sales and marketing, highlighting opportunities and risks.

  • Evaluate the data provided by our Research team to create concise, yet comprehensive competitor battlecards.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to understand sales requirements and create impactful marketing tools and resources.

  • Ensure regional sales teams are equipped with sales materials including pitch decks, product datasheets, and case studies to enhance their performance.

  • Lead the creation and ongoing refinement of marketing assets that support the sales cycle.

  • Work closely with regional and global marketing teams to ensure that all materials support our brand and regional strategies.

  • Work with teams to ensure that regional targets stay on track / need to bear revenue and growth in mind

  • Collaborate with other Product Marketing Managers to ensure cohesive messaging across all features, extracting key information to deliver relevant and impactful materials for sales teams.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing assets and iterate based on feedback and performance metrics.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum 3 years of Product Marketing experience

  • You work autonomously and communicate well with different teams, regions and departments across the business

  • You are skilled in producing compelling content and stories to drive sales growth.

  • You are great at researching the market to understand what customers want and how Phorest can adapt our marketing strategies to suit their needs

  • Knowledge of the hair, beauty or aesthetics industry is desirable, but not required

Requirement: Travel to events across North America at least once a quarter
