ManTech seeks a Part-Time On-Call Proposal/Logistics Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Stafford VA. This is a remote position with occasional travel to both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) locations is required.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in defense acquisition and logistics operations who can contribute immediately to mission-critical tasks.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Providing full-spectrum support to Department of Defense proposal development processes.
• This includes contributing to technical volumes, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation at both the Task Order (TO) and Multi-Award Contract (MAC) levels.
• The SME will play a key role in aligning logistics strategies with acquisition requirements and ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in this area is required.
• At least 20 years of experience in DoD logistics, with a minimum of 5 years operating at the strategic level.
• The role requires an individual capable of working independently while meeting strict deadlines and deliverables.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Prior service as a retired Marine Corps officer or senior enlisted member, with recent experience in Marine Corps DoD 5000 acquisition programs and Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Task Orders.
• Experience supporting DoD proposals and should hold either Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level II certification in acquisition or logistics disciplines.

Clearance Requirements:

• A current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this position. expertise in support of vital defense initiatives, while working within a team dedicated to excellence and innovation in national security.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc

The projected compensation range for this position is $134,400.00-$239,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
