Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with ManTech!ManTech seeks a Part-Time On-Call Proposal/Logistics Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Stafford VA. This is a remote position with occasional travel to both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) locations is required.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in defense acquisition and logistics operations who can contribute immediately to mission-critical tasks.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing full-spectrum support to Department of Defense proposal development processes.
- This includes contributing to technical volumes, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation at both the Task Order (TO) and Multi-Award Contract (MAC) levels.
- The SME will play a key role in aligning logistics strategies with acquisition requirements and ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in this area is required.
- At least 20 years of experience in DoD logistics, with a minimum of 5 years operating at the strategic level.
- The role requires an individual capable of working independently while meeting strict deadlines and deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Prior service as a retired Marine Corps officer or senior enlisted member, with recent experience in Marine Corps DoD 5000 acquisition programs and Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Task Orders.
- Experience supporting DoD proposals and should hold either Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level II certification in acquisition or logistics disciplines.
Clearance Requirements:
- A current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this position. expertise in support of vital defense initiatives, while working within a team dedicated to excellence and innovation in national security.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
