We want you to enjoy working with us. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in the Insurance and Annuities domain. This role involves end-to-end system development, integration, and maintenance of complex insurance applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Java, strong experience in insurance tech systems, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Requirements

•6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

•Strong understanding of Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data), Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.

•Solid experience with insurance and annuities platforms (e.g., policy lifecycle, risk modeling, underwriting).

•Familiarity with industry standards and data exchange protocols like ACORD.

•Experience in system integration, legacy migration, and DevOps practices.

•Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.

•Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ETL processes.

•Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with performance in mind. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services for insurance and annuities systems.

•Work on policy administration systems, including product configuration and legacy product migration.

•Integrate third-party tools using standards like ACORD and manage API-driven services.

•Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions aligned with industry regulations and best practices.

•Provide production support and contribute to continuous system improvement.

•Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive code reviews and performance optimizations.
