Position Summary This individual must hold a technician registration in good standing in the state of Idaho and active national certification from ExCPT or PTCB. Technicians will validate electronic prescriptions in compliance with state and federal laws and will direct prescriptions to the pharmacist or prescriber for clarification. Technicians must be able to work business required overtime when needed and accommodate flexible scheduling. To help support development and maximize workflow technicians will be asked to perform other functions that may include but are not limited to the entry of prescriptions into the computer system, performing calling functions, faxing prescriptions for clarification, substitution and formulary changes, and labor sharing efforts with other CVS units. Required Qualifications Must have a an active technician registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy. Must have a an active/valid technician national certification through ExCPT or PTCB. Must be available for onsite training for a week in December. Preferred Qualifications Prefer at least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician. Prefer 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $31.72 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
