Job title: TN Strong Families Teaching Specialist- Social Work Office of Research and Public Service Company: University of Tennessee Job description : Program Coordinator Salary: 64 ? 68K The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, College of Social Work?s Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS) through its Division of Field-Based Services is currently accepting applications for a TN Strong Families Teaching Specialist. As a member of the Division of Field-Based Services, the TN Strong Families Provider Grants fall under the TN Office of Criminal Justice & TN Department of Children?s Grants. This position will provide technical assistance and training support to subject matter experts in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training for the TN Strong Families Grant, and develop curriculum, deliver training, and provide help desk support for applicants and grantees. Qualifications The job duties include, but not limited to: Training Assess customer needs to create training curricula Create and/or support the creation of training products tailored to customer needs Deliver and/or support training at the group and individual level Integrate modern, up-to-date methods of training delivery Collect, analyze, and report on training evaluation information and use evaluation data to refine training curricula Protect data privacy and security Consultation Review and gain expertise in project requirements: Grants are complex and have a great deal of moving parts. Ability to collaborate with partners is essential to desired outcomes. This position requires the ability to know grants/contracts terms, timing, and deliverables. Provide data-informed training: Collect & analyze collected feedback to customize training & technical support needs to client/customers. Grants may exceed the typical 3 years; therefore, this position will support client/customer growth and identify the grants/contracts on-going needs. Maintain detailed project documentation for auditing purposes to document a trail of activities for the client/customer along with training processes used to obtain and fulfill grants. This information can be used to support future projects and for the grantor's reporting purposes. Collaborate and lead the project team to produce effective solutions to training-related issues such as identifying learning and skill gaps and then designing solutions/activities to address them, to finally conducting evaluations to determine the effectiveness of the training. Technical Assistance Provide technical assistance that dovetails with grant goals Learn, understand, and integrate project-specific requirements into training and technical assistance delivery Provide data privacy and security information through training and technical assistance delivery Help desk monitoring and response Other duties as assigned Education Required: Bachelor?s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, communication, or organizational behavior Experience Required: 4 years of experience in training delivery. Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability with web-based communication. Preferred: 2 years experience with online or web-delivered training development and at least 2 years experience in social service delivery and/or training. Exempt Position: Market Range, 08. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends, evenings, and overnight travel.
