Job title: Elementary ESL Teacher (2023-2024, 1 YR ONLY) Company: DuPage Regional Office of Education Job description : Community Unit School District 200 is seeking an Elementary ESL Teacher to provide pull-out services with emphasis in English as a Second Language. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT(S): Current Illinois Elementary Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement/Approval QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to demonstrate competency in organization, flexibility, and cooperativeness Related experience with ELL students in a pull-out program ACCESS and MODEL certification preferred ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test entering students for ELL services utilizing the MODEL and WAPT screeners Plan and deliver English language development instruction for ELL students Work collaboratively with general education teachers to assess the progress of students on a regular basis Confer with parents and teachers concerning individual students Consult with classroom teachers regarding curriculum differentiation necessary to meet the needs of the English language learner Maintain records for direct served and monitored students Maintain and improve professional competencies by attending professional development opportunities Attend staff meetings at building and district level Powered by Aspex Solutions - AppliTrack, Applicant Tracking for Educators.
