POSITION SUMMARY The Amazon Sales Specialist will support the Amazon Sales Manager and brand sales leaders to achieve revenue targets. This role will be responsible for day-to-day sales and merchandising activities on the Amazon platform... CORE FUNCTIONS · Partner with cross functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, to holistically align plans and sales activities that drive profitable growth on the Amazon platform. · Maintain product catalog and internal product database for assigned products. · Work with marketing team to enhance product presentation and deliver best-in-class digital merchandising on Amazon. · Use analytical tools and portals to measure, guide, and ensure the execution of aligned activities to win across product assortment, promotion, placement (merchandising) and pricing. · Collaborate with Sales staff in meetings by collecting and maintaining sales reports for Senior Management Review. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience · High School Diploma or equivalent required. · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field or 3+ years of marketing/sales/eCommerce experience is preferred. · Experience with Amazon Vendor Central is a plus. Skills and Abilities · Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Travel · Less than 10% travel required. SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES · Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · This position is subject to Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Physical Activities · This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, lifting, talking, and hearing. Visual Acuity · The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
