Key Responsibilities • Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with precision. • Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and maintain high standards of accuracy in transcripts. • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of legal terminology. Required Skills • Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening skills and literacy, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar. • Strong ability to meet deadlines and follow established guidelines. • Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy. • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. • Familiarity with processing sensitive audio/text content. • Capability to pass a background check. • Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. • Note: This role is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California. Qualifications • Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is essential. • A strong understanding of legal terminology and processes is preferred. • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. • Certification in court reporting or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
