Description: • Marvel Studios is hiring a visual development artist for early development character art. • Work closely with directors, production designers, art directors, and other creative leads. • Develop and complete finished color scripts and production ready assets within assigned deadlines. • Complete and develop environment designs and graphics. • Resolve design problems with creative supervisors. • Communicate progress of work to appropriate production staff. Requirements: • Must be comfortable tackling a wide range of environments: organic, mechanical, architectural, sci-fi, alien, historical, contemporary, MCU etc. • Must demonstrate high-level drawing and painting skills. • Artists are expected to have a solid understanding of composition, value, perspective, color, shape language, and overall design. • High proficiency with Photoshop is a must, and knowledge of or willingness to learn applicable design and production software and hardware. • Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D modeling a plus. • Strong time-management skills. • Strong communication skills. • Works well under pressure.
