Key Responsibilities • Transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings. • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to established style guides for verbatim transcripts. • Collaborate effectively with our in-office team for guidance and support when needed. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening and comprehension skills. • Strong literacy skills, including grammar and spelling proficiency. • Ability to meet deadlines and follow client-specific style guides. • High typing proficiency, both in speed and accuracy. • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. • Capability to handle sensitive audio/text content (may contain offensive material). • Must pass a background check. • Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply. Qualifications • Significant experience in legal transcription is required. • Familiarity with the legal industry and its terminology is preferred.
