L3 Systems Escalation Engineer (100% Remote- 2nd/3rd shifts- Windows, Linux, VMWare) Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will serve as a senior level escalation point for Systems and Operations teams. This engineer will work second/third shift hours/days on a remote schedule. Responsibilities:  Troubleshoot various Windows and Linux servers and OS issues  Help to virtualize an environment with VMWare  Serve as escalation point with L1 and L2 teams  Utilize PowerShell and Ansible commands for automation  Work on a second and third shift schedule with a 24/7 team  Perform various project and operations work- network troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, upgrading servers, migrating versions of OS, etc. Apply today if your background includes:  Strong Windows and Linux experience- commands, troubleshooting, patching, etc.  Experience upgrading and migrating servers, applications, and other infrastructure  Experience utilizing PowerShell and/or Ansible in helping to establish processes in the environment  Previous experience as an escalation point for L1 &L2 teams  Comfortable with VMWare as a virtualization tool  Able to work varying schedule with mostly second/third shifts Apply Job!Â
