[Remote-Position] Guest First Aid Paramedic

We're searching for a qualified Guest First Aid Paramedic! Whether you're in our Remote hub or working remotely, you'll be a core part of the team. About the position The Guest First Aid Paramedic at Walt Disney World is responsible for providing immediate medical assistance to guests experiencing health issues while enjoying their visit. This role involves performing first aid, collaborating with nursing staff, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for guest care. The position requires a compassionate approach to guest service and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Responsibilities • Make initial contact with guests presenting medical needs. , • Listen to guests and think of solutions to their medical issues. , • Provide first aid solutions and perform vital signs assessments. , • Collaborate with Registered Nurses for minor and urgent care treatment. , • Assist with arrangements for guest transport when necessary. , • Help guests with the storage of medications and medical equipment. , • Complete daily checklists and maintain inventory of medical supplies. , • Maintain a clean work environment and follow disinfecting protocols. , • Document and maintain accurate records of interactions and treatments provided. , • Quality check work daily to catch any errors or omissions. Requirements • Minimum 3+ years as a Paramedic. , • Current BLS Certification. , • National Paramedic Certification. , • State of Florida Paramedic Certification. , • Compassionate bedside manner and a desire to provide excellent guest service. , • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. , • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects up to 30 lbs. , • Excellent hearing and vision for patient assessment. , • Sharp time management skills. , • Willingness to work in a team environment. , • Ability to protect patient confidentiality. , • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime. , • Knowledge of basic computer programs and ability to work with a laptop/desktop. , • Valid Florida Driver's License. Nice-to-haves • Experience working in fast-paced environments. , • Ability to speak additional languages, such as Spanish. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
